On June 15, 2011 skywatchers around the subcontinent were treated with an amazing treat for the eyes as the earth hid the moon in its umbral shadow. This eclipse was the deepest lunar eclipse in the past decade and the Deepak and rest of the AAAD gang was there to see it. The span of this eclipse was over a 100 minutes.

Once again I would like to congratulate Deepak for this stunning photography work.
