Solar and wind power are no longer just the territory of fringe consumers. Furthermore, there is a fairly limited theoretical awareness of artists’ books as a Danish phenomenon in Denmark. He obtained advice from several respected artists but never followed the traditional path of extended study at an art school. The staff had never seen him so responsive. I also try and instill a sense of curiosity into my students and give them the tools I think they need to explore art making for them and take it as far as they choose to take it. He was given a scholarship to study art at the University of Miami from 1936 to 1938.
